From organizing and supervising dry dockings and major repairs to vessel inspections of potential candidates to be added on our fleet, our team is always there when needed. Successful technical management is the cost-effective procurement of spares and services consumed by vessels. We are always looking to expand our network of suppliers and co-operators as the ability to obtain the most attractive prices on competitive terms for major consumables is a decisive factor contributing to the success of our organization.
The New Shipping fleet is commercially co-managed by our subsidiary NewMed Shipping S.A. Using our extensive network of industry contacts we have established a comprehensive commercial management service supported by our highly-qualified team.
The strategy and employment management of our fleet along with the provision and negotiation of any services in support of charter party contracts as well as full-post fixture support is exclusively done through our offices in Greece and Albania.
Our chartering team is online 24/7 and at the full disposal of our charterers and vessels.
One of the most important factors in the management of vessels is the quality and loyalty of officers and ratings. In that spirit we have established our own strong crewing network which provides most of our seamen.
Our team is well-connected with a few crewing agencies worldwide but we are always open and invite new business opportunities. Our recruited crew consists mainly of Albanian, Indian and Ukrainian nationals. All our crewing needs are swiftly dealt with by our dedicated team.
Our Investment team is dedicated in handling all asset dispositions at New Shipping.
Swift communication with our management to ensure we make the most appropriate asset decisions for our fleet. Consisted mainly of our S&P department our core investments are selling and buying vessels.
